The load was carried in two aluminium panniers (41 liters & 35 liters) and in a waterproof rucksack (Seal Line Wide Mouth Duffle 80 liters) which was carried behind the seat. My tent was carried behind the seat too. The straps I was using were the ROK straps All Purpose Adjustable. One of them was cut after 11 months of use. For details, have a look at the Equipment review. I was locking those bags behind the seat with a stainless steel net (pac-safe).
