When a Greek travels in Turkey and especially in the lands where his progenitors were living, he learns about his roots. That’s a big attraction for us. Also, in Turkey there are a lot of beautiful, natural landscapes. All those surrounded by the mysterious oriental atmosphere make Turkey an ideal introduction for the following countries.

   Turks were amazingly friendly to me! They were inviting me for a tea, a meal or to sleep in their simple house. When I was telling them that I am Greek, they were even more friendly because they were considering me as a neighbor and a friend of them.

While I was traveling towards India, I covered 5,771 km. (3,586 miles) in 50 days in Turkey.
