It was a summer night and we were having souvlaki (the ones we make in Thessaloniki, meat on a stick :-P)… It was then when I met the notorious Lefteris Pimenidis. While we were chatting about the preparation of “mad about Africa” project, I happened to mention that I had some contacts with Honda, in case they were willing to sponsor us some spare parts. At the sound of it, Lefteris spontaneously told me: “Come on mate, your spare parts are on us”! I almost choked up! I dropped my souvlaki (the meat with the stick) and told him:

– Lefteris, what you have just uttered is more than I could hope for! Do you realize that spare parts were my biggest expense during my previous trip in Asia?

I urged him to think it over, but he proved to be dead serious!
